A youth soccer coach with over eight years of experience in both the boys and girls program, having worked with ages four to 19.  Have been integrating my coaching philosophy with my knowledge in sports nutrition, sports psychology, biomechanics, and exercise physiology to attain the most from the players.  Devoted to having kids fall in love with the game in a respectable, exciting, and engaging atmosphere.

Professional Experience

​

Physical Therapy Aide at Sportscare of America        August 2014-Present

​

Hired immediately for the Jersey City clinic after my internship due to my extensive knowledge in the science & performance of exercise and patient driven work ethic.  For the past three years I have assisted patients perform proper exercises that aided them to recover and return to their daily functional activities. I assisted with evaluations and re-evaluations under the supervision of the physical therapist. I also consistently reported patient progress to physical therapist to review plan of care.

 

 

Internship at Sportscare Institute Inc.                January-May 2014

 

Over the course of five months I observed three therapists perform over 150 hours of physical therapy work at the Sportscare Institute Inc. located at Union City, NJ.  I also had to do data collections, follow-up questions, and light assistance to the three aforementioned therapists.

Internship at Cedar Crest                                    January-May 2013

​

As part of course work for class I completed 20 observation hours at Cedar Crest assisted living located in Pompton Plains, New Jersey.

BS in Exercise Science with a concentration in Exercise Physiology. 

Some of my academic coursework include; Anatomy and Physiology, Exercise Physiology and Sports Nutrition, Biomechanics, Essentials of Strength and Conditioning, Exercise Programs for Older Adults and Special Populations, and Graded Exercise Testing and Exercise Prescription.
